When I started working in equine sports medicine, I dreamed of helping horses heal, adjust and thrive in both domestic and show environments. But at the time, I didn't know I was trying to solve an impossible problem. I believed in my heart that my work, my dedication, my knowledge and my tools ( if I just had enough of them) would be enough.

But no matter how many classes I took and techniques I learned, there were always more horses that I could barely manage to help. It felt hard and insurmountable, frustrating and exhausting. I watched passionate clients do everything they possibly could to help their horses, and yet the horses were still falling short. My own horse was struggling no matter how much I tried to help him.

I prayed that there had to be an easier way. After all, I didn't want to simply manage problems. I wanted to solve them. I wanted real results.

And, after 16 years of hard work, I've found them.

Over this journey, I've worked with thousands of horses, stalking and shadowing esoteric mentors, learning and unlearning the art of true healing, and finally I have been able to create something that feels cohesive enough to share. The knowledge is indigenous, coming from the horses themselves who have showed me, humiliated and humbled me and always guided me towards truth.

And that's what Heart Equine is all about: I want to empower you with the goals, the tools and the team you need in order to help the horses in your care.
